I saw some mods on Seiko snzh's and it's very appealing but I am unsure of the price tag that comes with it.

Definitely not looking at divers / stronger niche brands. I think something tough around 200M should suffice. It's actually a thing where I know if I have a 50m watch, it could 'die' if it goes swimming compared to a 200m. Similarly, durability would be higher on a 200m watch.

Also,
if I had the money, PEPSI face is just the ultimate hooker for me.

Which watch has the best lume too?

Since many bros here have already shared the modding poison with you, I will probably suggest that you can consider some unmodded Seiko models as well.

The SKX007/009 is the basic entry level diver and is iconic in its own right.

Here are some pictures of my Pepsi SKX 009 to push you over the edge. (Pardon for those who have seen this in earlier posts).

Yes its possible to mod a snzh to look like the one above. Check out the parts at Home - DAGAZ WATCH LTD.
Dagaz have almost similar dial, bezel insert and hands

I don't know how to mod :s11:

that's an automatic mechanical...

i'm not expert at seiko mods, and there are some on here who can help, but here's a nice one, starting with a higher end model (tuna)

... one thing for sure, there's a higher chance that a popular seiko diver will keep its value better than the average watch. although its affordable, there are a large number of collectors.

that's the expert!

you can also change the crystal (thicker, domed) and the day/date wheel (colour/Jap "kanji") etc.

also this may help:

if you're DIY kinda guy and a tweaker (is that you and your headfi gear in your avatar) then you will be familiar territory with Seiko mods!

I wouldn't mind DIY if someone can teach me as they mod it for me :)

Thank you but I don't like that Seiko because it looks BIG! Or do they call it lug to lug width? It sticks out of the wrist!

Secondly,

Would look good with the strap in the rolex picture.

Most of us have our modding done by Uncle Goh at K2 Watches. Just got to source your parts from Dagaz or Yobokies ourselves, those to our liking and bring down to him and let him work his magic. :)

Think it looks big due to the angle of the photos. It does not wear as big as depicted at all. Best, of course would be to try them on for yourself.

For the lug to lug length if you do not want the lugs the stick out, do try them out. There are smaller Seikos.

Almost all of us don't know how to actually do it either. That's why we pay Mr Goh from K2 or someone equivalent to do the actual work for us.

We choose the parts we like, buy them (just a few clicks on the computer and the parts will arrive on your doorstep in about a week), bring them to a professional to swap the parts for us. That's it.

Strap is the easiet thing. Can get it everywhere.

yeah that's a nice "pepsi" look...this id definitely smaller than the deep blue t100 watch that you started with - that's and oversized diver at 45mm across.

pictures can be deceiving - nothing beats trying it out until you are certain which shape/sizes will fit you...

for mods most guys bring it down to K2 and just pay the owner a low service feed to open up the watch and change dials/hands/crystals etc.... but i'm sure you'll learn how to change the straps yourself if you like those cloth type (NATO) with the rolex picture.

but don't jump the gun, go through this link here, there are slight variations to the colours and so many to choose from. look carefully you will also find sizing info. good prices and local store in chinatown means you can order online and go to the shop and pickup.
Seiko divers watch

steinhart ocean 1 gmt blue/red is similar too (S$712)
