well... not too sure if its true but i have a feeling that yatto dai kor is more than capable to hoot an ALS complication... but probably due to certain financial commitments or restrictions, he is getting his watch-retail-theraphy elsewhere by getting similar watch types...

so i doubt right now... even if he DOES hoot Zenith, IWC, JLC, GO...it will be sufficient to cure Yatto dai gor's itch...

my 0.00000002 cents :D

To me the effort is secondary. If my priority is ease of knowing sg time then i will leave hour hand untouched. If priority is local time, i will adjust hour hand to local time.

With smart phones, u typically get local time when u have auto roam, if that's of consideration.

Personally, I like the opposite.

When I look at the watch, mostly it's to check the time locally, and it's faster to process that mentally with the regular 12-hour reading. So at the end of the day, I save more time reading time.

Well, I suppose I do not have lots of time to fiddle with the hands. And yes, I'd find it more helpful to know the local time easily. Anyway good to know the options. Its a business with meetings. So I prefer not to have to glance at my S4 to know the time. One of my destination - Tahiti - has no roaming service and I will be spending the longest time there.

Compare...

even though 1-2 yrs ago they recruited JLC's ex-CEO, and acquired an independent watch movement maker...
It will take years for Montblanc to convince me that they can make good dress watches.

As of now, imo, I still see that Montblanc is trying very hard to craft their own identity...

To me, the watch that identifies them is the Nicholas Rieussec -

I personally love how this watch looks!!
