Not to undermine the help here, but go Watchuseek Tag Heuer forum, give your exact model and photo. You could be surprised what kind of info and advice you can get. Got some really hardcore Tag Heuer WUS there, especially if you are talking about past models and parts.

Saw their Monaco thread
Someone there posted the same model cw2111, quite an old model?
The one with me has been collecting dust since it stopped working

Koped the pic from their thread. Mine looks a little more 'worned'

Not sure what's wrong with it

thanks , wanting to get it as a gift, so 2nd hand is out :(
just a simple clean dial like orient bambino but a smaller version
any recommendation ?

Seiko? Citizen? Hamilton? F.Constant?
For most ladies, elegance, beauty and fashionable beats Automatic, Mechanic.

An elegant quartz ladies watch with diamond markers plus mother of pearl watch dial would be perfect gift for your wife... cuz when her friends see it they will go: "Wahhhhhhh Shhhoooooo Niceeeeee.....your husband buy one ah?!?!?!? Waaaaaaahhhhhhhhh...... must he very expensive...."

^.^ you get what I mean

If I were you,I'd save more money for an upgrade to rollie. 5k not a lot brands unless preowned.

You mean a diver style that can take a beating that is below 5k? Plenty of choice..

Recommend Sinn U1, Sinn U2, Sinn EZM 3...suited as daily beaters made of harder submarine steel and hardened bezel for durability.

Also can consider Damasko DA46, DA47, DK10..also very tool with ice hardened case for durability.

All the above confirmed under 5k.

Alternatively, the Tudor Pelagos also a good candidate as a beater.mean also get under 5k

Omega makes quality watches and newer ones are co-axial movements. Within 5k only used unless u boot the iconic Speedmaster Moonwatch.

Rolex, cheapest non vintage man sized around 7 to 8k.

I supposed with a Tudor BB in your stable... you're looking for another diver/sports watch or a classy dress watch?

Omega...definitely value for money. There are many articles about Omega vs Rolex.

For preowned... alot of factors comes into play:
Physical Condition. History of servicing. Original parts or 3rd party parts or refurbished. Watch only or full set or watch+cert or watch+box. Vintage or 1990-2000 or 2001-present or birth year watch? Stainless steel or half gold or full gold. 4 point diamond markers or 10 point diamond markers?

Agreed. An average rollie is around 8 to 9k.
