Argh... only been a week and scratches are already starting to appear on the bracelet. How do you guys deal with scratches, especially on gold watches or brushed finishes? I heard there's a 3M tape you can paste on your watches like a screen protector :o

Wear without care, mate

Let the scratches show. Didn't do anything to prevent.

Was quoted 20% off for ball watch at All Watches. Is this the standard discount or can bargain for more??
1.7k++ for Trainmaster roman.

Absolutely gorgeous in the flesh

BALL watches are nice.
Good price at 1.7k.
Some Swiss brands very strict on discounts.
But....
Can try luck and say if pay full cash any further rebates?

You mean IWC send a rep pose as shopper?

Its a common practice with the major brands as a check and deterrent to ensure that their ADs are not violating their pricing policies and undermining their brand reputation.

In the worst case, the distributorship can be withdrawn and that could really hurt. That is why if u are not some major customer, the AD won't bother risking the dealership n give u discounts beyond what they are allowed to.
