He got atas taste or not? Old men wear gold Rolex.

agree to look at Rolex Full Gold DayDate or DateJust for your dad.

Generally if our parents are not very into watches... there are only a few brands they know since their younger days which are very expensive.

Omega. ROLEX. Longines. Tag Heuer. Patek

this is according to what I know from my parents... my relatives... and their group of friends who are uncles and aunties who don't know much about watches.

Voted 19 for my fav poster in this thread :o

You may call it brand whoring, but if brand is no preference it's hard to comprehend spending 10-25k on a watch because in that range it's paying for a specific watch manufacturer's expertise, history, culture etc. which is specific to the brand. I get the impression your dad isn't really into watches? Really not worth putting 10-25k on a wrist if one is not really a WIS of sorts. That range is beginning to enter into what is generally accepted as the high end stuff.

Yeap, if he's not interested into e watch, no point spending tt amount of $$. Might as well spend that 10k - 25k on a precious stone rings which might be more of an attraction for elder lies.
