Ah so you were the one who took over the moonphase I reserved.
39mm , bought at local AD less than $8kBro, how much did you paid for your Explorer? Its 38mm rite..
The colour of your LV looks kinda weird or is it just me?![]()

Well the attention definitely started on the fish. lol.
Would bring my 1970 Datejust rollie on the next one.

after thought from the recent watch meet...
To everyone:
Thank you for making an effort to turn up for this meet despite your busy schedule and bringing your precious watches for everyone to morest =P
now we're able to put a face to everyone's nick =D
To Paladium:
Thanks for organising this watch meet and selecting an excellent place. We literally "owned" that place.
To: Iceflight Dai dai kor
Thanks for bringing your RM, ALS and Urwerk. It was a big eye-opener for all of us that day. And also, educating us how to appreciate such art pieces.
- How RM is able to make analog dates look digital is simply incredible.
- That ALS actually assembles, de-assembles and re-assembles every single watch they make
- how to appreciate a unique watch piece like Urwerk.
Forgot to take a photo of the Urwerk + Batman keychain (Courtesy of VW) + Crapman's Batman GMT =P
To: Elshan

Love your seiko. Its a beauty. bring it along next time.. I wanna morest it more hahaahah!!!
I'm really looking forward to the next meet up already!!! excited about it!!!

I was deeply attracted to this particular watch since early last year, but has put off purchasing it due to the price, and various other committments.
Will be heading down to K2 these few days. Drop me a pm if you wanna molest my watch. LOL
Anyone know where to get a watch tray?
Prices for it?
This seiko 5 belongs to the grandfather of one of the forumers here... Much stories behind it. the stretches and marks all over the watch says a million words.
So i won't say its "little" among the RM, ALS, Omegas and Rolexes...in fact, its value is immeasurable to the forumer who owns it.
a few of us actually mentioned that this watch meet was able to see how watches have evolved through the ages. 38mm was considered "big" in the 60s and 70s.
then came the 40mm in the 80s. then 42mm in the 90s. and now PAM & YM.
at the next watch meet, I hope to see VW's duomatic, Ariszelc's Pagol and other vintage watches upclose and personal.
regarding the responses... well its normal tbh as not many of us has the chance to come upclose and personal with expensive watches like RM, ALS and Urwerk, even less to touch, feel, morest and wear them. A big, big thank you to iceflight dai dao kor for his generosity.
then again... as the watch meet went on, the attention was shifted to other watches and stuffs. in fact, i felt in the later part of the meet, the watches become secondary as everyone started to talk about personal stuffs and got to know each other better.
honestly, you have to attend one of our watch meet to experience how it is like =) you can't judge the responses from this forum.
At this watch meet, everyone went there with an open mind to know more about watches, different kind of watches, the story behind each watch etc.
i'm sure you did and i'm sure you had good fun.
good to see a vintage watch in the mix and just wanted to highlight it that's all.
with regards to the my comments about "little" and "gatecrashing"... no offence meant, just some tongue in cheek humour.

Pop by the boutique and try! I believe some of the pieces most likely have been reserved by the SA's regulars. Just ask nicely for the pieces to try on, and whether they are able to call the person who reserved to make a decision whether he or she wants it or not. At least that was how i did it.
