Yes, it is, tilted 50 degrees. and worn on the inside of the left hand.
Allows easy visibility for the pilots so that they don't have to turn their heads to look at the time,

I believe its lop sided for a reason: worn on the left hand and it is tilted to let u see the dial-face upright; esp when your hands are on the controls/steering. And 49mm is quite typical of pilot watches......?

Anecdotally, my AP is much more accurate than the pam 233. Adjust it once a month instead of once a week for the 233 with the 8 days movement.

i would expect AP to beat Panerai in accuracy anytime :D

In any case - at least for the 233 - panerai doesn't claim COSC standards.

i think the triple barrel 11 days is a technological and engineering feat in itself, though compared to other brands they had more latitude in the size of the case to make it happen. That's why the 233 is a historic timepiece. A story I hope to be able to brag to my grandkids in the future :)

to me the the long storage is the real innovation with real benefits to users/consumers. with less fuss setting the time, it would get more folks into mechanicals. following Panerai's 8 days are system 51 and powermatic 80 - these are going to be the new standard movements.

I think a radiomir will look good on your wife's wrist.

The black seal..388 or 380

Yeah it looks massive in this pic. Prob the angle it was taken.
She's not looking at anymore panerai. Wants me to get something else. : /

I'd take the AP :)
Personally I dun care abt the scratches. My nautilus is scratched all over already.
But if u do then just be vigilant and careful but then you'd be so bothered while wearing it you can't really enjoy it...?

Enjoy!

Your nautilus is seasoned. :s13:

Definitely a daily beater for you.

Not point worrying so much about the scratches cause its bound to happen. Just enjoy the watch. Next time cut into half to pass down to both children. =:p

This was with the 50% discount or something right?
No discount is how much?

FC watches without discount in Singapore imo is rather overpriced...
a FC moonphase slimline no discount is about $4.5k?!

1) Take a flight to Japan
2) Go right up to Fukushima nuclear reactors; yes, the more damaged one
3) cover yourself in lead suit but leaving your hotdog exposed; facing the reactor is preferred
4) enjoy the glow
