You can of course wear any watch to a meeting. There's no law against it.

But a 47mm one with a busy dial that's sticking out of your shirt cuff may draw unnecessary negative attention to yourself.

Generally, in a situation that long sleeves are required, the accompanying watch should be discreet, hidden under the sleeves, and when seen does not scream for attention.

I would argue that FC watches, although nicely designed, are a little too big in size to be traditionally considered "appropriate". But they're much better than your current watch.

Good point there But sorry couldn't agree with you that FC is 'much better' than my current watch. Myself is a big ML fans and I like it far more than FC. (Except my current watch isn't using ML in house movement, but ETA Valgranges.

I think CBS means that FC is better "as a dress watch" than your current ML and not that FC as a brand is better than ML.

Totally agree with this comment. If we talk about "dress watches", there's a particular slant towards a clean dial and a discreet case size.

But mine was about 4-5 year old liao... the crown like not very smooth....I got feeling that it was actually dented maybe....

Compared to my seamaster, it was alot better i feel.

Fireman racer classic is also another excellent choice for Dress watch.

I also like Fireman series and for its low price
But I think I better save up for other brand watch, since I already have a Ball.

However I dont mind getting another pam wor!

considering its Swiss-made... BALL is doing an excellent job to offer high quality automatic watches at affordable price points, without breaking the bank.

Other good brands are Raymond Weill and Baume & Mericer

Totally agree with you on Ball watches.
I always recommend Ball watch for those wanting to start into luxury watch..
Take step by step slow.... dont chiong till Rolex unless U got too much cash

Sharing some dress pieces. You can have a look at the Longines piece in the center and the Heuer piece beside it. Somewhere around 36mm - 38mm would be good if your body frame is not too large.

I find the Visodate, Frederique constant wearing big on my wrist as mine is about 6.1 in. Hence, wrist size plays a part in deciding your ideal dress watch.
