I am drawn to Frederique Constant classic index watches. Really what I would need for an entry level dress watch for now. Wearing a seiko new monster as of now but don,t go well with formal wear. But from what I researched, SGD 1k cant seem to get it.

Classics Index | Frederique Constant - Geneve

Classics Index | Frederique Constant - Geneve

Any idea if THG carries them?

I find this watch you are interested quite similar to Orient Bambino honestly

there is just something not right about FC watch prices in SG, my gut feeling tho

Must be from the yucky stuff between the metal links. That's why I suggested soap and soft tooth brush.

happens when things once alive, die... and then under the right moisture and temperatue ...become ALIVE again :D

cleaning the bracelet is not attacking the root cause...

solid or folded end links?

folded end links are superb wrist cheese traps :s13:

Very cryptic and scary. So what exactly is this ALIVE thing and where does it reside?

This comes to mind... :s22:

Since you mentioned, yes it is very similar. Hmmm price wise for FC in Singapore what is it like? Do you have a gauge? Because some bros mentioned to be below 1k but their offical webby shows at least 1.4keuros

i think FC opening their own retail shop soon, THG is clearing off all FC watches at about 50% off retail price, i think it will be hard to find

They have been clearing stock that is why e price is unstable in singapore.

In Thailand when I went there earlier this month, there was no such price.

Alright I think best option is to give THG a call and check for this validity of 50% discount for FC watches. And then go down and have the a look. Anyway I noticed the main difference between the orient and FC classic index. The FC is much thinner which is quite appeasing for me. Like longines haha

Anyone knows of retailers that sell Stowa or Nomos watch? I have very small wrist (slightly less than 15cm) and don't feel like ordering online without having to try it out first.

Just called up hour glass, the stopped the whole frederique constant in their shops as of now. The only distributor for FC is FJ Benjamin. The supply it to W.O.S at vivocity and Sincere watches at Ngee Ann City. Have to call them up for prices.

for price, i always go to this website Rolex Watches From SwissLuxury.Com. and use their price to have a feel of the differences between different models.

None in SG. What's your width of your wrist from the top? From the size of your wrist, Nomos may have more suitable smaller pieces.

Haha yeah man. I called them up. Anyway I was quoted 1.3k for the classic index (leather) but not sure which leather; croc or calf or what. Sincere watches at Taka giving me a in-house 20% and further discounts can be negotiated at the shop itself. Your opinion? Worth? I really love the design though. Ball Trainmaster - One hundred twenty

Welcome to BALL Watch * - Trainmaster

is my other consideration. But it is 7k sgd :o
