anything like this for the next zelos set ?

and how was the HK Watch Show, any pics to share :)

Probably not a full skeleton cos that's gonna cost a bomb with the ETA movement. Also my tastes have changed since then and skeletons aren't that appealing to me now haha!

Here's some stuff which I found interesting in HK..

Full carbon fiber case CNCed from a full block (hublot style) or forged carbon (AP style).

Pretty cool dial design copied from Hublot

You'll probably recognise a whole bunch of micro brands from this manufacturer

Lots of strap options around. These were my favorite, full horween chromexcel leather. Prepare to see them in future models :)

New Seiko NE88 automatic chrono movement, great specs but not so nice price. Would love to use it but pricing needs to be much lower than the $300USD they are asking for it now

U effectively labelled everyone one else on this thread, other than yattokame, a(atm pin number?), CBS and yourself as immature with this post! :D

Hahaha it was said with good intentions :) No one is immature but I find the 3 of them to be exceptionally level-headed; so are you!

i dont get how ppl willing to pay so much premium for a normal omega or a tag when they use the same movement as a normal swatch auto watch. no product innovation whatsoever.

i think a lot of brothers here have had educated you on the modified ETA movement Omega uses. Its never the same with a normal swatch auto watch.

But at the end of the day, its still up to your personal preference which watch you are comfortable with.

For me, i'm probably the same as you, i would probably not pay a premium for a tag but i'm comfortable with omega.

Haha of course, and I was just being the stirrer that I am and the unexpected elevation to their (your) level was an added bonus :s13:

Thanks for sharing. Been waiting for a nice watch with the NE88 movement's I wouldn't mind paying 300USD for a watch with NE88 if it's from a micro brand with decent rep

Paiseh should've been clearer, its 300USD just for the movement alone, means a final watch should be around the 1k range :s22:

I bought it actually. The dial doesn't look that nice in person. Gave it to my cousin in the end.

If want to debate movement, please debate on the mechanics like what pple in wus do rather than to debate solely on the image/performance

Hmm okay, which puts it slightly lower price range compared to watches with the 775x series of movements from lower tier brands. Wish Seiko would make one and price it below 2k

at some level, having this level of interest in watches in this day and age...does reflect some irrationality or even mild OCD tendencies :D

carbon fibre cases are really neat, especially for sports watches.

i like the way microbrands are innovating in materials for watch cases e.g. brass, tungsten...and still keeping things accessible by not overly elaborating on the bells and whistles.

the big brands are have been hammering down the fashion route for far too long, and all these homages makes me think they are running out of ideas.

Panerai seems to be keeping tabs with the microbrands use of brass cases, lets see how long before they come out with a carbon fibre one!
