Appreciate any sharing. Thanks

Good morning peeps.

Nice! My first luxury swiss watch will probably be from Omega. What is the material of the case and strap? Look like Titanium though probably brushed stainless steel, and the design reminds me vaguely of a Skagen watch.

this topic discussed a few times before. try the "search" function... ;)

anyway quick pointers:

1. yes, europe price is significantly better. list price is probably $300-500 off, and you can get a 12% - 13% VAT rebate
2. you may not be able to get stock in europe. base models are very popular among resellers and "flippers", so plan ahead and contact some ADs before you arrive in europe. don't expect to rock up to an AD and pick up a PAM000. you would more likely be stuck with chosing from less popular models.

hi, anyone knows the price to repair an ETA movement watch (stowa flieger) in Singapore? any good independent watchmaker.
Stowa quote me a ridiculous price even though I have warranty

not too sure about watch thread from Par 1 to Part 3. But from part 4 till now... hardly see any discussion about getting PAM in Europe.
usually, its "how much does Tag or Rolex or Tudor or Zenith or AP or PP cost in Europe?" or "Cheaper in UK o France or Italy?" or "Worthy to get in Switzerland?"

Do let us know your adventure if you get one chows99. I am sure many PAM lovers here will be very willing to get it in Europe :D

Got my 351 in italy, after Vat refund, price is at least 1.3k difference from local. That time exchange rate was 1.73, with a weaker euro now, u should be getting better savings.

An El Primero is always at the back of my mind.. Maybe when I become a bit more successful :s13:

good choice. strong history, very accurate, sufficiently decorated, and open to innovations e.g. 1/10th of a second measurement.

if anything zenith lacks awareness and publicity and retail presence at the moment, strong candidate for price increases to fund new investments in brand equity.

meanwhile a nicer picture for you to aspire to ;)
