Does K2 repair eta watches? The more popular and established ones are JW (but super long wait) and the other one at Lucky Plaza (forget the name of the shop). I did mine at the lucky plaza one. The shop only opens at 3pm, and many rich taitais all waiting for the shop to open to send their expensive watches for repair or change battery.

$250 to service my eta tag Heuer Monaco.

what to be piss with the warranty? even if u buy a Rolex and have local service centre if they see it.. they still make U pay. which warranty out there cover such damages. so whats the WTF?

its your words to say U didn't do it thus a manufacturing defect or say shipping is the cause.. if so.. that would have occur within 1st week of wear.
fact is they see parts and its that condition and U have no video evidence of it how to argue.

Well, I would like to see how you would feel if the same problem happen to you. first they say it was a case where a hard knock or dropping and the dial is staggered; then after requesting them to review the case because I am sure there's no optical damage to the watch; they now agree that theres no optical damage but said it might cause by a shock e.g. a slap which cause the shock; so will you accept that your watch is so fragile as they seem to portray?

Having a local service centre sure do improve communication because they took a month to get back to me, and takes a day or two for every reply. If you can't see the benefit of having a local service centre, then there's no reason for others to have them here since we can always rma

Yea, I'm thinking of bringing to local watchmaker and see how it goes.

Wow... After reading your case, i have to be careful about my stowa as well... mine is 2 weeks old =(

no harm trying... since K2 has a long history in repair Automatic seiko watches.

JW only opens on Thursday and Saturdays a week but they are famous for repairing high-value watches and complicated movements.

i think this can happen to any products; everything is good until you want to claim warranty. like someone said, manufacturing defects should be detected on the first week; then what's the point of having 1 or 2 years warranty :s22:

before you bring to a local watch repair shop, read through your warranty first. some warranties will be void if they know you send your watch to a local watch repair shop in your country and will charge you even more for future repairs.

such T&C are very common especially in electronic products like HP and Laptops.

Hi gents , i believe most would have seen me post pics of my explorer 1 here.

It is with most regret that i would have to let go this classic piece , due to certain personal issues.

The explorer 1 was hooted in feb 2014 , local ad. Box , tags papers are still with me. Interested bros , may pm me. Thanks.
