this moonphase???

Can explain to me what is the allure of moonphase? I don't really get the use of it vs. other complications like perpetual calendar, gmt or water/shock proof. Do people really care if it's a full moon tonight? And it is usually very expensive too.

how come u dont like :(
it was something like love at first sight on my wrist. too lazy to go out today to buy :(

i value clean proportional design. i have always hated the design of ball watches cuz of the seconds hand. it distracts from the overall look of the watch because the logo doesnt follow the lines and design of the rest of the dial. this particular model is even more messy because of the separate day and date. but end of the day buy what you like. its you wearing. not me.

It fits any 22 mm strap? K2 sells value for money straps. Else you can order from Panatime, strap code (metal bracelet) or some other online shops if you are adventurous enough.

Here's not about atas watches but watches that we like in general!

Here's an old shot of my Pebble.

The allure of the moon phase to me is more of a design. We all love the watches for their design and movements. Perpetual calendar, GMT, moon phase, world timer, chronograph?? We can get all those from our Androids or iPhones.

Guys any regular AD to intro for iwc? How much %off they usually give?

IWC a bit hard. Got an AD kena caught by mystery shopper recently.

You mean IWC send a rep pose as shopper?

Its a common practice with the major brands as a check and deterrent to ensure that their ADs are not violating their pricing policies and undermining their brand reputation.

In the worst case, the distributorship can be withdrawn and that could really hurt. That is why if u are not some major customer, the AD won't bother risking the dealership n give u discounts beyond what they are allowed to.

I am actually quite surprised that the AD got caught by a mystery shopper as rightly mentioned by Bro All in a Day, they don't normally give higher discounts unless you are a regular customer. Hope the AD did not get saboed. :(

By the way, Bro Hua Hui, which IWC model are you looking at?

I see, noted for the detailed explanation :)

Will start saving to hoot in future
forgot to mention the most obvious difference...sub got a rotating bezel that lets you keep track of time... meant for divers to 'time' their gas tank, but u can also use to time eggs...
