wow wow wow.. this is pretty interesting news.. EDMW-quality material hehe

On a more serious note, if the blogger herself does not know that her watch is a fake (and I wonder how jase knows.. perhaps by scrutinising the pictures she posted..), I hope she had received it as a freebie and just made to look stupid vs having genuinely paid good $ for it.

And also on another note, I wonder what's the difference between fake and replica, as jase's post seems to suggest there is a distinction.

not sure where she got the watch, but pretty sure given her status, if she knew, she probably will not be wearing it. not me, i didn't spot it, another reowned watch blogger/reviewer who used to work for Hublot spotted it. technically he was the guy in Hublot who writes the guidelines on how to spot fake watches, so his words are golden.

hmm i mean in my own opinion, replica is something like a copy of the original, maybe differences is in movement or maybe the material used but overall looks pretty the same.
Fake is u copy the brand name but the design is somehow changed.

Example for the Hublot fusion chrono she is wearing, has no day date window at the 6 o'çlock while the original has. Well something like that, so its not even worth to be called a replica.

First thing in the morning eating breakfast, opened this thread and saw a whole bunch of fake watches. The pateks were bad, but the DJ fonts were what killed me.

Blue bird... This wouldn't happen to be the same poster who's selling watches and commenting on rolex pricing in various threads, would it?

Been thru too many of these situations lol.

Picture this

In a recruitment fare, next booth is those financial power suit people ( insurance lah), a elder guy came up to me and say " nice watch, is that a rolex?"

Thought he is fellow watch lover and I happily replied " oh yes it's my submariner :)"

He laugh and said loudly " if you work for this company and you can afford a rolex then me and my people should change job!" He then walk off still laughing. My colleagues was shocked and just look at me and I just smile loh. Nothing to prove. He can say what he want, I don't care :)
Sibei shallow that guy, never judge someone's capacity solely by their occupation. My wife is just an office admin but people do not know she has plots of land worth SGD millions under her name. Tsk tsk.

Oh, I replied your thread in the EDMW forum.

Why did you have to pay 5 bucks to shorten the bracelet? If the shop didn't do it for free, couldn't you just DIY - unscrew the pins and remove the links?
