Retail is around 18k. Not sure how much disc is available but GO in general is not very cheap in SG.

Agree. Last time I went to Dickson at Knightsbridge to try the Seventies Chronograph, I was offered 20% discount from list price of $23,100. But the markup is high considering that the retail price in Germany is Euro 12,000.

My main point is I am puzzled why cartier didn't bother to align the front screws in the santos (genuine one). Perhaps it's because of some heritage or historical reasons that I don't know of?

I've also always wondered why watch makers align the crown screw as well to be uniformed :D

IMHO, I feel that when the screws are aligned, it would give a sense of the product being of a higher quality as compared to those with unaligned screws..?

At least that is how I would perceive it. :)

Or.. Maybe I am just displaying OCD traits. Haha!

Yup, as what the other bro mentioned, it's just one of the little details that I look for in a "fine" watch... Like the quality of the finishing, etc... Well watch people are an OCD bunch...

Hey guys.. It'll be great if I could have some help here :)

Currently, my watch is too small to be placed inside my winder (It's a generic 2 watch winder from Amazon? Diplomat or Versa I think), do yall have any recommendations for winders which would accommodate small wrists? Say about 6"..

Thanks! (If not the screw in crown is gonna get worn out soon.. :()

I would think my wrist is quite small as well but my winder has no issues. Are you referring to the watch pillow being too big?
Also, I'm curious as to why the screw in crown is going to get worn out?

i leave the clasp open, then tighten the bracelet with rubber bands so that it fits around the cushion.

There are watch pillows which are softer sponge like. Can squeeze the pillow in. My wife's wrist is smaller and it fits.

@fade_white: Yup.. I understand that is a good method.. :) However, my "pillow" isn't actually soft. It's a plastic attachment that has no leeway in terms of compressing.. so yea..

@arcfire: Umm, my watch pillow is the plastic attachment type, that clicks into place, I've tried compressing the holder first before latching, but to no avail. I normally rotate my watches.. so each time when I wear it, I have to unscrew it to set the date and time, before screwing it back in.

Any experiences with boxy winder from K2..? Does it come with a soft pillow..?

Thank you! :)
