321? Hey I never considered the GMTs because I thought they were in the $15k range and paying just for the additional timezone which I won't use. ...thanks I'll study them more closely. Heard the 44mm 1950s automatics wear big due to additional thickness for the rotor mechanism.

Just noticed something very inconsistent.

422 - 47mm big dial more space right. They take away the 9 to put the seconds dial.

321- 44mm smaller dial they leave the 9 and squeeze the seconds dial next to it.

392 - 42mm smaller still they did the right thing and took away the 9.

321 and 422 not logical eh?

Like my 44mm 359, the back case is thicker hence it wears taller than my 47mm 372. Banged the crown guard several times

The manual wind also need service frequently

Lol automatic more reliable but all high end pieces are hand wound.

No issue with my 005. Manual winding gives you personal time with your time pieces by winding it.
I always wind till I feel resistance and stop. Lasted me 56 hours.

Yeah man. I felt confused and lost. Fully wound last me 2 days plus as well. Could it be a lemon you got? I knew about the manual winding before I got it and honestly I enjoy winding it and I appreciate it even more, it's like saying sayang the watch lol

Funny how the prices for the 000 and 005 have risen in the past 4 years. Market was flooded and I recall seeing pieces going for slightly under 5 in 2010/2011. Not from ADs though, but grey and individual sellers.

What about the price of Pam 312 and 320 in Singapore?

Not sure about Pam 320 but Pam 312 is at $10.6K new.

I believed Pam 320 should be slightly more expensive than the Pam 312.

If you don't mind grey, the 312 can be gotten at $9.5K.

Ya the bezel different.

Didn't bother to read much.

GMT is pilot watch
Sub is diver

GMT has a 24 hours bezel and the extra GMT hand to tell time of a different time zone (bi directional)
Sub is the standard 60 min bezel (clockwise only)

GMT has the PCL ( bracelet centre pieces are shiny, prone to scratches)
Sub has pure Matt bracelet (less prone to scratches)

Sub bracelet has the glidelock clasp
GMT has the easylink

To me, after owning a Pam 312. I would prefer a totally plain face but don't mind with the seconds and power reserve indicator but definitely not with the date.

If you overwind you will damage the mainspring

absolute rubbish watch.
I was one and half hours late for dinner event because of this.

get something with second hand

One and half hours late cause it manual?
Under wind is problem? Watch stopped and u didn't realize for over 1.5 hrs. Wow!

U must sold your Pam cheap or give it away.

Most of the most expensive complicated watches are manual. So bad ppl still make.

it was ok. but it surely didn't last 42/44 hours. Max 20+ hours.


My preference will always go to automatics.
Much more reliable.

you won't get screwed if u underwind.
If you wind up for max 40+ then forget to wind subsequently, it's oso a problem

Sounds more like a user problem to me.

Or you are unlucky enough to get a lemon piece. But to dismiss 000/112 and other handwinds as rubbish watch just cause of your single experience is a narrow minded view.

I own the 112, 390 and previously the 111 and none of them gave me any power reserve or time keeping problems. All are handwinding movements.

Auto no need? The basic principles same.
U still have s spring, auto u winding much more freq, that's a good thing? Manual u only use the winding mechanism so in frequently

aww..i was keen in the PAM112/111

My suggestion is if you like it then try it. As mention above all my 3 pams were handwinds and they didn't give me any problems.

Your reasoning flawed.
If u work on keyboards don't move freq watch also can stop.
Fully wind getting 20+ hrs that's a lemon not a design flawed.

Buy a manual merc? Say it never can go above 80, but user never move above gear 1 complain manual gear box sucks
