Swift and decisive!

You are fast bro. Remember you asked about this only a day ago.

Sweet looking timepiece.

Sent from Somewhere to Everywhere using GAGT

no no no..... I had actually seen this quite some time ago and had been deliberating. I can't even decide between all the different versions of the 42mm. The 38mm is really nice but it's really too small for my wrist. 42mm is the minimum without looking like a toy.

the missus also commented this feels better than the bambino. the latter seems too thin. I think she's referring to the edge of the bambino where it tapers off like a disc. That I agree with her.

I think I saw it as well on the Carousell haha

ya man saw it during breakfast this morning....he posted it last night. immediately deal haha. I was THIS close to clicking the purchase button on longisland watch but luckily I didn't. Saved me quite a bit and it even came with brown leather straps! The way I wanted it!

the 38mm one is also sold.....very quickly. there's a 42mm for sale now. cant rem if its the panda or the black face.

have actually made a number of friends on carousell through watches. have invited them here to join this big watch family. :)

One of them said "People who likes watches are nice people."
I guess I agree a whole lot ;)

what a fantastic choice ;)

initial thoughts?

my initial thoughts......
we both wear this watch and hold hands as we stroll along the beach?
how about that, baby? :s13::s13::s13:

okok seriously.....
the chrono hand ticks rather than sweeps; it could be just my watch and i'm not bothered by that.
I love the blue and red hands on the cream/gold dial. And how simple they are - no fancy breguet hands, sword hands, itchy hands, hairy hands (ooops we all know who).... Most of all I love the chinese characters.....really really unique and vintage feel.
Have ordered a green nylon zulu and I'm looking forward to mounting it on this watch. I hope it will make it look even more retro.
Glad they made a 42mm; 38mm will be ridiculous on me. Would be even nicer if the crystal is even more domed but not corum bubble kind of spherical. no complaints for this price.

I might get the cream dial blue hands bambino next. I rem someone here bought one and said the dial was disappointing in real-life so he gave it away and got the white face/gold roman numerals instead. I dunno man.

Any more of such vintage remakes to recommend ah?

Steinhart looks really nice.
But I already got seiko 5. I think it's better to get quartz watch this time.
Any high end quartz (with chronograph) ?

Tag formula one? The tissot and Hamilton Quartz Chronos also ok

Ha.. Actually I quite like this watch, as my wrist is too small for a g shock. :o

They got the metallic version as well! Which is even nicer.
