what is the watch brand? 21 zuan?

brand is seagull. 21 zuan means 21 jewels.

this watch was once built for china air force in the early years. was eyeing this watch for a while too...

oic. btw nice choice of the cream dial colour. makes the watch looks even more cheena, i mean want cheena, go all the way. lol..

the panda doesnt pull off the classic look i feel.

I know the zuan part.. Usually sea gull put their brand name on the watch.. So I thought got another brand 21 zuan... Lol

The panda is nice.. But I read somewhere the 42mm one is fake? 38mm is the original one?

all are remakes. the 38mm is the first remake in 2011 iirc.
the 42mm is a 2nd round of remake in 2013 iirc.

But I already got seiko 5. I think it's better to get quartz watch this time.
Any high end quartz (with chronograph) ?

By high end do you mean Tag Heuer Longines Tissot Hamilton etc?

One of the cheaper quartz chronos that seemed high end would be Longines Conquest chronos going for around 1.5k. But at 1.5k I would rather have a Steinhart Nav B Chrono. Non chrono quartz from these brands possible to find under 1k.
