Zelos watches launch of: the ABYSS!

Very tired after a seriously fun and enjoyable party at the launch of the ABYSS - Zelos watches' 3rd instalment after the hugely successful Helmsman and Chroma.

The Abyss is a 44(45?)mm bronze diver watch, depth rating 3000m, and comes with a helium valve, internal rotating bezel, 120 clicks external bezel and several colored dials. And of course, an affordable price tag; typical lotsa-watch-for-the-buck as per Zelos watches.

Here are some pics from the party at Arterial cafe earlier today. (btw the female barrista is very cute!)

Arterial cafe. (yeah the female barrista is very cute)

Event models. The pics don't do them justice. They look much better in real.

Courtesy of the gang from ROC Asia! Steady pom pi pi. Followed by puns about the cork as usual.

The diver: the ABYSS

.....in multi colors!

Chroma skeleton. In case you've missed it, can be found on zeloswatches.com

the black chroma.

diff straps for diff folks

many many thanks to Elshan for this great party! it didn't even feel like a sale pitch/launch as we were all just busy cracking jokes and catching up. I have attended some watch events where they shoved the watch to you, almost landing it on your dinner plate/soup bowl. Ok maybe they were showing off the water resistance / shock capacity......

what more could one ask for: great atmosphere, fun people, watches to molest, models to drool over, free flow beer and food...... really enjoyed myself after an extremely stressful week.
(have I mentioned the female barrista was really cute?)

Look out for the Abyss on kickstarter soon!

Interesting. How do you normally get the contacts/offers to check out these "underground" brands?

I think in the future if you semi-retire, can look towards becoming the SG version of ABTW.

Yato thanks for sharing on the Zelos event. Was scrolling down your post interested in the bronze diver but the design doesn't cut it for me. Mainly due to the bezel neither round nor angular. With the Bronzo as the benchmark it's tough being the competition I guess. Never heard of the brand before this....
