Not an expert but i'll say buy if u can get your hands on 1. Cult status diver + 50th anniversary + ridiculous new depth rating ought to be a success, espec if the depth rating is kept exclusive to the edition model only.

If 1000m is ridiculous depth rating, my Rolex DSSD 116660 is even more ridiculous at 3900m. But I got it just because I love the way it looks. Now it feels heavy on the wrist.

I won't get started on DSSD... Heh

Let's just say for some reason it's the typical (or sometimes only) rolex of choice for APROO and PAM fans. Lol

What about this at 4000m from a one man brand?

This is half a million. Think iceflight won't pay that yet? Haha or maybe he hooted liao

Based on frequency he hooted his last few he probably spends easily 1/2 mill annually. He is the crème de la crème liao.

lol, you looking into japanese watch is quite interesting considering your collection are high end swiss/german. back on the watch, its a worthwhile buy for sure considering its a 50th anni/700 limited edition pieces on top of being a very beautiful piece which for one doesnt depreciate at all if it goes the same way as the old historical release such as sbdx003.

as for the depth rating compared to other brands, this 1000m is done without hev for what its worth.
