Guys, anyone knows where can we view the Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon Hunley with blue bezel in Singapore?

Went to several ADs and all carries only the black bezel model. One even told me the blue bezel model does not exists.

The ADs said they can bring it in if I confirm on the purchase. But I want to see the actual piece before making a decision.

Thanks..

Not too many people carry Ball..
(Same cannot be said for my workplace whahaha)

Jokes aside, try emailing Ball HQ and see if they can link u up with a local stockist?

seiko or tissot?

Tissot if you want the swiss label, its entry level. Personally I dont fancy their designs and prefer Seikos. Seiko is a very undervalued brand, and personally I had to overcome that "undervalued" perception of Seiko too. I would only get the Grand Seiko range though and for Spring Drive only. But for a beater the popular Seiko ranges like Marine Master, Tuna are a solid choice.

Tissot ain't all bad. Vintage tissot is nice and often underappreciated. For instance, the asking price for this is just under 1k sgd, I'd rather buy this over any contemporary tissot...

last time during 2330 to 0000, the date window will be inbetween two dates, i.e, for that small date window, the upper side will show current date (but only show half), the lower set will show incoming date (again only show half) in between will be white (spacing between the two dates)

net net; as follows: (in the date window)

current date (half)
white space
incoming date (half)

but nowadays (for two days), it started changing date i think around 11-ish.

is this normal?

could it be the aftermath of me setting the time few days ago, as it was gaining too much time (+20sec).

so i itchy hand and went to correct the time. and maybe at that point of time i did something wrong which result in this problem.

but like no lehh, i went to change timing nia, very simple and normal mahh.

I have the black WAN2110 version and mine also changes date just before 0000hrs, but to me it's no issue. If you're really so particular, go get it checked out at TAG service centre.

if i m you i would not send it in for servicing, its pretty minor cause the date still changes right?

the issue with sending watch in is , they open the watch, many other problems may come up like scratching the dial ,introducing dirt into dial etc.. Which is exactly wad happened to my watches that went in for warranty servicing

Dont send a watch in for servicing unless its really bothering you :o

"Singapore. 50 Years of Independence. Since 1965."

Rose gold special edition Orient "Bambino"; limited to 500 rose gold/stainless steel watch pairs.

Wanted a memento to commemorate Singapore's 50th birthday; something affordable but lasting, and which can be used rather than left to sit pretty on a shelf. This fits the bill!

Majulah Singapura !

this is very nice! If i may ask, how much did you spend on it and where from?

Edit: Read the nus horo article and got my answer; thanks for the shot!
