Today I don't feel like doing anything

Well, not exactly. Have to be professional about finishing all the work I have today before lights off at 1pm. Besides, the boss has been kind enough to give me Friday off.

Time to dress down then, and wear the Casio F-91 which I have not worn for months.

Two things I like:

1. Quartz, so no fiddling about when heading out.

2. Its dead light. Rafael Nadal would do well to consider this if he needed a watch to wear while playing sport and wanted something inexpensive.

Here goes.

Sub C and GMTIIc are high in demand and carry better resale value among all Rolex models.

Aren't the SubC and GMTIIc simply the new rolex models? If the new rolex models have higher resale value wouldn't they be simply offset by the premium I would pay for them for them being new models? Thanks for the advice though!

Like the sub then just go for it! Imo I wouldnt put GMT in the rugged category, the PCL is bling bling and dressy in a way.

If you wan higher resale value, go for preowned :) imho

I'm probably going for a preowned Sub, any idea on what's a good price I should be looking out for for one in mint condition with all box and documentation?

Cheers!

scratches on clasp and bracelet can be easily taken care of using scratch pencil (for brushed finish) and cape cod (for polished finish).

worth or not worth is dependent on its age, servicing history etc. it's your game of finding the balance between price and risk. :)

Thanks so much for your reply! Dated end 2012, no servicing history. Assuming no further info, do you think 8k is a good price (generally speaking)?

The warranty just ended? Try looking for 1 with warranty.
