wah who's that......?

Guy with the AP is Himura Yuki, one half of the hosting/comedy duo Bananaman. Below is a commercial with an 80s-90s star.

His partner (as in the guy that is paired with him in the shows) is Osamu Shitara

Shitara Osamu - DramaWiki

The shows I watch him host, always a different watch.

Japanese shows is fun at times to spot the nice watch. Most of them though is the safest choice, aka Rolex (and half the times its a Daytona).

Oh i know bananaman..... I always watch "You は何しに日本へ?" on youtube.....but never get to see their wrists because of how they edit it (some CGI thingy)

I did notice Sata of bad boys with a rolex sub before on AKBINGO!

Thanks very much. Some checks later, it is a real 26300 Royal Oak Chronograph. This colour combination has been discontinued on the later model, so had trouble tracking it down.

Further research, learnt two things.

1. Japan is dead big on AP watches (not surprisingly, the other one the celebs like to wear is... the Rolex)

2. This guy is one of Japan's top 15 best paid hosts on TV. His partner even more of a watch nut. Every episode of this show, he wears something different (never twice the same watch), but even harder to cap.

Once again, Thanks!

I aimed this colour combi before... it's 26300 with smaller dial size (39mm). ended up with my 41 mm new ROC, but perhaps in the future I'll trade for the older, smaller chronograph! :s12:

Everytime i try to ID Osamu's Watch of The Day, the cameras always cut away or they insert some text.

But Japanese entertainers do not really like to openly boast about their wealth, as out of so many, only a fraction are that rich. Last time, when the partner made fun of Ninety-Nine's Hiroyuki Yabe for buying a new Mercedes to celebrate his marriage and newborn, Yabe just kept saying, "yame, yame, don't talk about it" as the AKB members in the room jaw-dropped.

Okay OT, back to watches.

Is Pam getting more popular in Sg or just this thread getting more posts over the last few months ...hmm :s8:. With limited production numbers it should be a niche brand eh. I'm sighting more Pams in the wild also, 2nd to Rolex sightings. Even more than Tags or Omegas which are sold in much larger numbers. :s8:

Not only in sg, stayed at australia for a year. Dominant brand was rolex and panerai too.

It's a different kind of Christmas for my boy. First time bringing him out on charity work. Instead of receiving presents, this morning he packed and distributed packets of food for old folks. He asked a question when we were distributing the packets, "Nobody should live alone, why are these people living alone?"

Good people hard to come by these days. Well done!

Nice Lego watch.

fantastic bro......thumbs up for you guys!!!

I have encountered a little girl volunteer who asked "why is God so unfair? why these people have no arms or legs?" and started crying. really breaks your heart.

Thanks for the thumbs up... But you are the man when it comes to charity!
