Thanks for the kind comment, actually i wanted the plain-est of the GS range with power reserve. There's a couple of GS GMTs and a "snowflake" on this forum, all of which rank higher on the GS luxury scale. But this humble simple three-hander works for me.
wow, nice, seldom see you wield seiko. new purchase? the day they change the hands and indices on the sbdb009 is the day i get a spring drive.
Got it a few months back. Actually I am a big fan of Seiko and more so with time. Spring drive, GPS Astron ... lots of real and useful innovation from Seiko. I don't think the Swiss can ignore them for much longer.
With the increasing number of new Grand Seiko's and Anniversary Models coming out these days, you might just get your wish!
That is absolutely gorgeous! Is the dial actually blue or is that the coating? What's the model if I may ask please?
Yes its the AR coating that makes it look blue, the dial is actually black and glossy and with the convex sapphire, makes it really hard to photograph without distracting reflection. More on this model here
