i feel 47mm a bit too huge so stuck to 42mm and 44mm

most people talk about the spring drive accuracy and that buttery smooth sweeping second hand, but I am most impressed with the 3 day power reserve and winding efficiency of the grand seiko.

Half a day out driving and shopping to bring it from 75% to 100% capacity.

nice shot ... what do you call this arrangement with the watch alongside each other and the heads at opposite ends :D

You're again showing your chio GS. Probably the chio-est on this forum.

Indeed. If not for the 2mm difference (which is the way it should be with your wife having smaller wrist) they are identical eh. Good choice of 1950 cases too imo. Probably the closest Panerai couple watch combo. Comes with same strap some more.

Tudor stock leather strap is sooo comfy, wonder where to get similar quality straps at reasonable prices??

Nice, makes me so tempted. Can PM where you got it? :o

Merry Xmas to you too!

One question, did you buckle on the strap wrongly? I thought that the tail of the strap should be at your 12 o'clock and not at the 6 o'clock?

Cheers!

That is absolutely gorgeous! Is the dial actually blue or is that the coating? What's the model if I may ask please?

312 and 392? You beat me to a couple watch hee hee.

Anyway saw the 422 in the flesh the 1st time just now at Wisma Atria Sincere (I think it was). Also saw this probably Indo young dad with his family crouching on floor taking out his 372 which he probably bought from the boutique. My wife whispered to me "eh bee (short form for hubby)....see that guy 忍 不 主 just bought a Panerai" :D

Have to say I think the 47mm Pams have a presence that just screams Panerai. I'm still on the fence whether to make the couple watch with a 47mm Pam or heck it and wait for the next watch bug to bite. .VC Overseas anyone? hee. Too poor now for that anyway.
I get alot of attention and compliments on my 372. Can never go wrong as it's as pure panerai dna as it can get. Just get a 372 for yourself and 390 for your wifey. Match made in heaven.

At mbk, there is a store at 3rd or 4th level selling panerai straps. Go have a look bro, i bought one leather strap couple years ago and the quality was great if not on par with gunny.
