Ok I got my nautilus below 45k aft disc. That was last dec. i suppose prices have risen.
But being a brandwhore (me), a PP is a PP. Period.

same la. but i can only say but not owned.
If i have a certain amount of money to splurge on.
A PP > Rolex anytime.
But Rolex easier to flip if need cash lo.

if not hoot a PP + Sub. lolol

you may have tried but still i need to ask, have you fully wind the watch to test?

new watch doesn't mean no problem. ever heard of a new piece of PP stops working the next day it was purchased? worse when the buyer is a tourist here and two PP technician had to scramble to fix the watch within a day. :s22:

edit: just trying to illustrate nothing is perfect in this world. buying anything under the sun including a watch also heng sway.

Yeah noted... i juz dis a full wind till i can fully feel the resistance n test again... i might have not wind fully last timw as my nails were long n dun wanna scratch the side when winding lol... hopefully tts the case

My first pam 359 has trouble keeping time in my first week. Was +2 mins per day on average which was bad, sent it back to richemont for recalibration and was foc due to this. Maybe you can state your case first when heading down.

PAM 372 (Just clean and classic, 47mm, domed crystal, patina indices and numerals. Just pure sex to me)

PAM 572, the new in house movement that somehow look like Yattos PP (P.4000. Micro Rotor)

Anybody knows which AD have GO watches? Saw the Seventies Chrono in a magazine and instantly fell in love. I'll be in Germany next month but would like to try it on my wrist and also check out the local prices.

Is that OEM strap? They are undersized, the spring bars are showing.

For photo taking purpose, I didn't like the original black strap haha. I think brown goes well with the white dial. Where can I get good quality 21mm straps locally? Online ei know there's a lot but cos I am leaving SG soon, I would prefer physical shops

Do you want to consider the Rolex Sky Dweller? It's a annual calendar with a Rolex look. It's bigger than the Submariner at 42 mm. Not sure if it's within you 30k.

Not into Sky Dweller as I don't like the large circle on the dial.

Go to the shop and try as many as you like. Bring wifey along for second opinon :) if me, i will go for the classic Sub.Do try the Sub hulk for an impressive piece as well. Have fun finding the watch! To me that will always be the best part :p

Shopping for a new watch is always a fantastic experience, but my wife is not a watch kind of person.

i may read your meaning wrongly. correct me if i'm wrong.

if you strictly want a rolex, i can be quite sure you're a brand ***** (like myself). so do you really not want something bling bling? :D

like this?

if the above is true, then with or without date is no longer important. because i wear my daytona more of as jewellery now.

Nice Daytona! But I'm not a fan of gold and definitely not want to have any diamonds on my watch. I got interested in Roberts as my dad used to own 2 1977 Oysters which were since gone and regretted not taking over and servicing it.

Don't have much info on PP and even my TAG's price had gone up a bit, guess it's across the board for Swiss watches.
