by my experience in all my auto watches,
tudor bs: once over wind, cannot feel any resistsnce of slip clutch, however can hear a very slight tick sound as u continue to wind it.
daytona: once over wind, can feel the clutch slipping.
cellini: oncer over wind, can feel obvious resistance with clutch slipping.
every watches be it auto or manual if u understand its personality u will know its tell tale sign when fully wound. watch maker made auto watches for convenient sake imo. no other reason as in which is better. if i like a watch, i buy it as its movement design. a manual watch i definately not a deal breaker (to me).
