I am eyeing on this piece too! Haha. I can PM you a contact, you try see if can get good disc.

I've tried this pilot too! Love the big date and the details of the dial

Nice zenith. The center piece is the simplified el primero movement whereby the stripped away the chrono function right? And can see the purple silicon parts through the open heart display. U can see through the watch because it has a saphire case back. Very nice. Went to see it last week.

Calling Pam experts. Which are the Pams that have only the 12 and 6 indicators? I'm very much attracted to the 233 now. Has almost everything going for me except that I can do with less complications (minus the GMT and AM/PM) and prefer a 47mm(it's 44mm).

And here is a super high quality 233 thread from WUS worth reading for those Pam lovers.

Yup, clean dial look. El Primer being a chronograph movement without chronograph is like with a missing piece. The case back is not as nice as the rest of the El Primero series as many parts were taken away.

Now almost all El Primero comes with the updated movement with the purple silicon parts :) not only limited to the latest Zenith Synopsis. Best is to do a visual check to confirm that it is the latest :)

The 42mms all only have 12 and 6 indicators. 392, 535 and 537. That is if u dont mind 42mms

True. But nothing wrong with rollies and speedy for first timer because they are safer and a more conservative choice for first timers. And it may well be the only expensive watch that some bro may purchase. For the less usual brands, they can go ahead with them when they learn and can appreciate more about watches.

And true that one should buy a watch that he can afford because there may be a time when one will no longer spend this kinda of money on such luxuries when they have higher priorities in their lives for eg, children.

For preown, they are of good value in my opinion. But for the first purchase i always advise people to buy from a proper AD. Everyone deserves to have a shiny, sparkling brand new time piece along with good service from a SA for their very first big ticket timepiece purchase. After the first, they can go for preowned which is really good value for luxury items.

I don't agree with the reasoning and advice to buy a "safe" piece hence get a sub or speedmaster. Not the first time hearing it too. We're buying a piece of jewelry that has personal taste involved. No right or wrong and nothing to be safe about. Just buy what you like, your style. It's not like we're buying a blender or home appliance where you need one that won't breakdown or fail to perform as expected. If everyone followed this reasoning every one would own a sub, speedy etc. How boring can that get in WIS-dom! .:)

So u got personal experience with them? If not how u know the greys dealers get from them? And where u get info they are the foreign AD?

This is true from personal experience...brand new sets fresh from foreign AD. Don't want to say too much, protect their trade secrets.:)

In my view the Grey market is part of the overall ecosystem for ADs to get rid of excess supply and meet quotas..
