I don't agree with the reasoning and advice to buy a "safe" piece hence get a sub or speedmaster. Not the first time hearing it too. We're buying a piece of jewelry that has personal taste involved. No right or wrong and nothing to be safe about. Just buy what you like, your style. It's not like we're buying a blender or home appliance where you need one that won't breakdown or fail to perform as expected. If everyone followed this reasoning every one would own a sub, speedy etc. How boring can that get in WIS-dom! .:)

This is true from personal experience...brand new sets fresh from foreign AD. Don't want to say too much, protect their trade secrets.:)

In my view the Grey market is part of the overall ecosystem for ADs to get rid of excess supply and meet quotas..

I second this.

My family have bought Rolexes from local grey. The warranty cards were stamped with AD stamps.

To be honest. I think it's quite tacky for us asian to wear yellow gold watches. Lol

But that's my opinion. Haha no offence. I do prefer rose gold though

Nice 1980s Casio by the way.

I found a similar 1980s Pulsar dual alarm vintage piece. The movement behind looks clean, hopefully not much damage. The strap is original.

A bit of tender love and restoration will bring this watch back to the sample as shown.

Well.. The 233 is lovely too! Just that the 270 has the P.2003 movement. To me, it has all the bells and whistles. Haha!

just pulling your leg ;)

just happens to be one of those longstanding debates, and iirc it comes down to three things - auto vs manual, +1mm height and the dot indicator for some 233's

can't go wrong with either on the wrist, hard to tell the difference
