or a maurice lacroix skeleton in steel/black strap.

IMO get a JLC master control if you want a plain dress watch. Though plain JLC's version is much sleeker and sexayyyy.

Rolex, Patek and Panerai comes to mind.

Rolex is kinda safe choice especially the Daytona models.

It's sporty yet luxury. The price holds and I'm sure it would be a great family heirloom.

recently gave this to my sis. cheap hoot. from biccamera. super impress by the quality. the brushed lug and front of case and polished sides, dome sapphire crystal, decent dial. even the date window looks well made.

Looks quite good, and from afar resembles the more expensive dress watches.

But I think in some ways, maybe you answered your own question, saying all the other dress watches you had.

@soilwork @Lurker_13 Thank you for the comments this morning. Though my frustrations (and that of my friends) have not gone away, maybe one day we will all just see that light at the end of the tunnel. Like it will somehow work out, or we can say what we "suffered" taught us something.

Hmm shall read up more on the SZ02 movement.

Cos I'm looking at possibly acquiring the EZM13. Now I shortlisted a few watch to hoot. But will only hoot one ha ha ha.
