I think Pams are the watch to watch for these past 3 years.

pams were the centre of attention 10 years ago but i think its facing a lot of competition and the attention is waning. gone are the days where pretty much any pam you bought could keep value after 2-3 years.

still they have their appeal - the first pam always seems to be a very exciting event for anyone, much more so than any other watch brand to me.

As for reverso, I have a soft spot for clean dress watches. So no doubt I'll get it sooner or later. (Better sooner than latter though :D)

The reverso is the earliest watch i set a target on but seems very hard for me to find closure. maybe its the dainty size during a time when pam and 42mm watches are the norm.

It remains on my "most desired least likely to get list" - i have yet to fully understand why.

I bought another house also (cheap2 here in Indonesia), there's a 5 year loan period for that.

There's also a planned trip for the wife and I in August to New Zealand that I have yet to pay for :o

So I'm realistically only aiming for either a PAM or a reverso this whole year. Sad but that's the reality :o

wow house in indonesia ... are you indonesian ?

now time to plan which watch for new zealand and remember to post pictures :)

finally have some free time hahaha...... another of uncle yatto's OT post.

It's actually my birthday today - I kid you not - my 37th birthday to be exact.

Instead of getting myself a birthday present, I have decided to buy a meal for the residents of a needy organization. It's not a lot of money, but it's a darn lot of smiles you can put on their faces.

And smiles are priceless.
It's a great birthday gift to oneself - may I encourage you to try it on your birthday as well?

thanks for all the fun and support here. it's been a great year, and I hope we have more fun in many more years to come.

Godspeed, good night, and here's to a great 2015 to all!

I don't really bother about birthdays but the missus places a great emphasis on it. Her plans were foiled when our kids had viral fever since yesterday so we spent the entire morning today at the hospital, and the rest of the day monitoring their condition.

Bad night... both my boys took turns to wake us up. Didn't sleep well. :(

Hope the day will be better (able to find time to catch a cat nap)!

Can get it at 9200 from grey dealers

Anyway late to the party. Aiming for a speed master pro original moon watch. Don't know the model lol

Same aim for me.

Browsed the omega webby. Seems the original watch ( with hesalite crystal) is now known under 311.30.42.30.01.005

The one with the sexy see thru caseback is 311.30.42.30.01.006.
Sapphire crystal for this model and more exp.

Thanks to Henabi for helping me with these straps (satin?) from JW :) i think it gives the santos a more dressy look than the original croc strap :)

As u can see i'm terrible with crafts hence did a bad job and spoilt some parts of the strap......

Have a great day all!

Another January baby on the forum.

Sorry to hear that your birthday did not exactly go as planned, but I hope things were okay in the end.
