I think what he means is he wants only original panerai straps and not 3rd party ones (aka clones to him). In which case I think only boutique sells them. The ADs may or may not have them. And no I don't think they will be cheaper.

Judging by from his post in the shoe thread I think TUV2008 just wants good looking strap without the fuss.

I observe cars like I observe watches. In fact, cars have been a main interest for me since I was five.

Cause of all the GMC models, only the Yukon (so far) still use the old General Motors instrument cluster of green and red needles, the new models now use white and red needles.

GMCs are technically the Chevrolet trucks/SUVs with a different badge and plusher interior.

Hope your upgrade did not cost too much, cause rental companies might stack on the charges. Winter + SUV = time to charge.

Ya man. I am driving a yukon XL. Its darn huge though. Feel like the speed is capped at 160km/hr. Tried going faster on the free way but cannot. Driving to vegas from SAn francisco is crazy. Lol

Was charged ard 100 sgd a day for 12 days.

Apparently it's an in-house quartz movement AL-372. Think a bit bo hua for the price ($1k USD!), and also because I have small wrists, I have to punch extra holes in...but I like the color combo.

I'm sure we all have our fair share of buying things that were bo hua but still gotten simply cause we like it. Just enjoy the watch and don't think so much yea.

It's only bo hua if you don't use it. My take is, if you like it and can afford it, why not?

if i'm not wrong its a high-accuracy quartz movement with its 1/10th sec chrono...its really very good quartz, and not all quartz are created equal. can do me a favour and check your manual on the +/- seconds rating if you can find it?

no shame in quartz, still a watch and a much more reliable one than any mechanical, I'm glad Alpina is still pushing the envelope and stubbornly going down the high accuracy quartz route.
