Thanks for getting back! I will do some research on Nomos. Generally the pricing would be around SGD 2000 to SGD 3000?

Normally when one is getting a watch, what's the technical part to look into?

1) Movement?
2) Brand?
3) Durability of the strap and the mechanics?

What are the other things to look out for? Sorry I have a lot to learn on this.

May I chip in. Go back to why you are interested in watches or want a (luxury) watch. To me watches are men jewelry to display your unique style and personality. So what to look for? What you want others to think about you, frankly speaking. For example if you are a guy with quiet style maybe a leather dress watch etc. If you are a guy who expects and appreciates quality then spend a few K on a quality piece and keep the plastic digital watch for playing sand with your kids :)

I have been watching videos from this archieluxury

Quite funny how he is slamming the Tags, the Baume and Merciers and the "non swiss" brands.

I occasionally watch his vids for entertainment (as long the F bombs dont start getting too much) but he is not a watch authority at all as he purports himself to be. What he says are nothing original and can be found in the mainstream content with his focus on the sensational controversial stuff. He is a drama mama and thats how his channel survives....with a mixture of shouting + f bombs + sensational topics. I don't take his advice seriously and personally I think he has no taste and personal style. Lately he has been making apology videos (on grand seiko and eta movements - again with arguments found easily in watch circles) and I think its kinda cool though.

On a self-imposed ban to not hoot any watches for the short term.

Found myself buying a lot of straps instead to curb the itch hahah.

How do you guys keep your straps? Mine is like all over the place now.

You can leave it all over the place like now, get a strap case, use a box and throw them all into it or make your own! :D
