Guys looking to get my first automatic, and was considering between the Orient Mako / Ray and the Seiko 5.

Which would be the better buy?

I never like the Orient Mako/Ray series, so my vote go to the Seiko classic, SKX007 or 009.

Skip seiko 5, go for seiko skx007. I'm also looking between the Orient ray(newer version of Mako) and Skx007 for the past few days.

Currently leaning to blue ray which is out of stock in SG. Late March restocking. I should be getting from oversea.
