Working weekends at a booth selling tickets.While the added money is handy, far more interesting is the people you meet.

First was a mother who did not earn much and wanted to let her daughter watch the concert. Knowing their financial ability (they resisted the upsell and only bought et he tickets cause it was payday) I found them the best tickets in their range and offered a best price.

Next was the auntie working next to my booth. She is far too kind, offering me food in return for just chatting with her and helping her with the more physical aspects of setting up the booth. When I told her that, she called my help priceless and that her husband told her also to buy a little something (really too kind)

As a result, the breakfast she bought, along with the Japanese rice cakes and biscuits from her and other booths somehow seem quite tasty and hard to fault. Plus I appreciate how the food saves me from spending at the mall.

A group of us went to do some charity work this morning for an old folks' home; followed by lunch.
Iceflight dai kor dai invited us to SICC and paid for lunch; while we paid for what we ordered and the money is donated to the old folks' home.

didn't take much shots cos I ain't sure if it's nice to take pics of the elderly residents or the home; and didn't take much pics of the gtg too cos we were just too busy chatting and laughing our heads off....... yes, hotdog jokes and all.......

Very nice piece. I like the way longines execute the roman indexes. the subtle inclusion of the PR n date dosen't clutter the dial.

Affordability is subjective. Appreciation is the most important thing i feel. Some watches simply punches way above their price point. that itself is priceless.
