Honestly I'm also a bit tired.
Maybe at the back of my mind I'm targetting to retire by 40. The Patek may be my last acquisition.

But then again I have always lusted after a few others:

Yeah he sent me a pm on sgroc but......if the company folds then the watch becomes a really expensive paper weight. I also prefer the steel version; more contrast.

Wanna get the patek first. Then see how.

Dont know why buy my urge for watches tone down liao. After all how many watch can i wear a week? I still really believe in having proper wrist time with all. But i am also asking myself if i will sell the sub or 372 in future but i cant find anything else which interest me for now ( would love a lange but honesty even leser wrist time)

+1. When buying another watch I consider not just the price of that watch but the opportunity cost of not wearing the other watches. I don't like selling my watches as got attachment to them plus feel its a financial loss.

For automobile inspired watches, Tag Heuer is it. Tag made a big advance with it's in-house 1887. Many jumped in to get them to silence the naysayers (yes Tag-bashing is a hobby for many) that Tag uses non in-house movements.

Bro, agree with you there.

Got my Tudor Grantour at a good price now I am aiming for the Monaco :D

Was at gardens by the bay this morning. As I was queueing for tickets a gentleman approached our family and gave us two tickets for children - for free.
Apparently two children in their tour group did not turn up so he has no use for the tix anyway.

Accepted the tickets with much thanks. To pay the kind deed forward I'll donate the cash equivalent amount to charity.

Fantastic morning :)

Guys,

What's a classy and "powerful" dress watch that is at least 46mm and costs under 7k SGD.

I wear suits for work, Mainstream brands are either too expensive or too small on my wrist.

Please advise..
