I am heading to Italy next month also, will be in Rome, Florence, Venice and Milan...

Looking for a Rolex Sub ND for myself...hope to take advantage of the low Euros now.

Considering grey sets going round at SGD8,800 now, what would be a reasonable price I should expect in Italy ah? Any experts to share their views?

Also, I just happened to email Tag Heuer and they mentioned in their email that the VAT refund is 15%... so I am hoping that net of VAT and exchange differences, I can get at a good 'discount' as compared with local prices =:p

swiss xchange rate went up quite abit. The news is most made in swiss movement watches have had their prices revised.

Just saw a taxi uncle wearing, when I praised him for his rolex, he was kinda stunned.

Just had lunch and took this. Good day to all bro. Cheers!

can't avoid. let's assume all legit, easy to throw a stone and find a Sub or Datejust.

Some people have more than one Rolex

your conclusion is not surprising :)

I say buy a watch that speaks to you, regardless of how many there may be around.

At the end of the day, unless the watch you have is the only one made, you are bound to bump into someone wearing the same model. Might even be a good conversation starter.

I prefer to look at commonalities.
