As i enjoyed the mega musical fountain.....it dawned upon me this place used to be a desert just not too long ago. Now it's a super tourist attractor. Service was excellent, and everybody was spoilt with choices.

Tag Heuer latest luxury brand to tweak prices on forex

BASEL, Switzerland (Reuters) - Tag Heuer, French luxury group LVMH's (LVMH.PA) biggest watch brand, said on Wednesday it planned to freeze prices in some markets while it cuts them elsewhere in a move to balance out the impacts of the recent jump in the Swiss franc.

Prices will drop an average 8 percent in Switzerland, China, the United States, the Caribbean, and Central and South America, 7 percent in the UK and 13 percent in Hong Kong, but Tag Heuer said it would not raise prices in the euro zone, Japan or Singapore.

"Tag Heuer is seizing the opportunity of the recent appreciation of the Swiss franc to rebalance its international price policy," it said in a statement.

more like price adjustment than price decrease, but still a great move by Tag Heuer. what about the rest in the group?

its a really nice watch to me, only suggestion i'd make is to put it under another line instead of "carrera" which has a very strong auto racing connotation that causes some disonance for me.

however if its 48mm wide and 19mm tall then i think seiko made it a tad too big for a normal production watch.

the darker dial is even more impressive. i am seldom surprised by 3-hander dress watches but is a really good - especially that movement inside - and will give grand seiko a run for their money.
