Any shop recommended to get Longines master collection watch?

Go to any of the ADs will do. There's no special place with special discount for longines. Not a common brand from grey dealers too. But no harm asking them if you want to.

Looks good from what i read on the net, this watch will be using tudor first in-house movement with 70 hour power reserve. Wonder when it will reach sg so can take a look in the flesh:s12:
indicative pricing is 3500 swiss franc for bracelet >_>

I was just having this discussion with my gin gang.

First, i have to quantify - I am a poor man! So it wouldn't be so much of value but what I really like (a personality trait)

3 different watches can bring diversity for different occasions. But if i was going to wear one watch for the rest of my life for every occasion, i think dropping 30K on it would not be so bad either.

Servicing costs would be another factor. if you had 3 very good / complicated watches - it may cost as much if not more than a base model Patek for example.

so it really depends. But I would go for a Patek.

Whilst I agree with bro rachdanon (my beef, would be taking a train whilst wearing a Patek)...maybe a lot of our colleagues / friends would not really know what a Patek or Vacheron is even if they saw one. Just food for thought. The designs are simple and not ostentatious. Especially dress watches like Calatrava which are meant to be subtle and hidden under your suit :)

Yup i agree with this as well. Using patek is just an analog. If i have a base of 30k, i must have a pam and a Rollie sub. Not because these are popular or to show anything like i can afford or what

1) i love sub for being a genuine tool watch. Its comfy to wear and it just have so many stories from the james bond movie, to the different varients or generation of submariners. I feel proud to be involved with the heritage

2) Pam is because i just love how neat and clean the base pam are. I love the whole involvement of Panerai with italian frogmen during WW2. I love options of straps and it jusy make watches so fun and interesting. Italy is one country which i love alot and hope to visit as well.

So these are my grails. I aint rich as well so i will not dream of owning any more watches but i do love the urwerk, mbnf as well. If i can add one more, i am very interested in moser :)

If i can only have 1 watch and nothing else. I would keep a Panerai ( maybe bronzo! Or just keep my 372 and save the rest for my family)

True that about the sub.
But pam = clean dial, big watch, wrist presence and the crazy options for straps. It's like wearing a brand new watch when you just do a strap change. The design is suited for almost any strap.

Not like you can fit a Patek on a green strap haha

Patek is still the holy grail. Good for heirloom if you can afford and intend to start a legacy of your own for the future generation to pass down. Best is to engrave name or surname. Haha
