a question for a rainy afternoon.

should a person wear a expensive/luxury timepiece when going for an entry level/fresh grad position interview?
given the fact that the timepiece is a gift.

let's say a Rolex, Pam, Omega (the more well marketed brands)
or should turn it down a notch
say Tissot, Longines, Seiko, Citizen, micro-brands or fashion brands?

I will maintain a low key image. Dress smart and neat.

that's what i thought. at least it might affect 5% of your chance of landing the job.

a guy with a rolex
a guy with a seiko

both have same credentials and got their way in the interview.

i think chances are the interviewer will give to the guy with the seiko.
because the guy with a rolex at his age probably comes from well to do family.

doesn't matter if the guy save up and got it or is a watch lover.
because the interviewer will just assume.

Wanna ask regarding light scratch and hairline (minor) on my Scott casell luminox Hardened mineral crystal .

Anyway for me to get rid of it? Or any shop got service for removing it?

Depends on the industry to be honest.

i need to find a bigger anti slip matte for all my watches at home. no space liao.

don't like watch box cause ma fan or maybe i should ah. haha
