I hate the funny 12 and 6. Glashutte O is about classic watch making not being avant garde like Hublot... whats with this arty farty numbers.

Glashutte_Original_Sixties_PanoDate_front_LG.jpg

It's not avant garde. It's the exact opposite in fact. The GO Sixties originals are supposed to be styled after the vintage East German GUB Glashuttes from the 1960s. So, they're classic, as you say.

This link has a few of the vintage GUBs. As you can see, the "arty farty" numerals are fairly faithful reproductions.

If some of you may have remembered, my MM300 was sent in for servicing for a faulty date wheel and rough manual winding. It's finally back with me after a 4 months (!!) tour back at its birthplace. Missed it so much! Got to say Big Time was very professional in their comms and service though despite much delays!

Morning, upcoming oris diver sixty five you hooting? Looking very good imo. Quirky enough yet presentable enough. Vintage done right too.

yes agree very well done going to be a new classic if that makes any sense.

would provide good company to my Longines Legend Diver also from the same era.

Mine was serviced at Big Time as the MM was bought from there and still under warranty. For your watch, I will suggest bringing it to K2 uncle Goh to take a look.
