Thanks and I personally love blue with the black dial. And yes I agree too that I personally prefer watch with dates so that can keep track or even with the day too as a bonus.

So far I'm still a dive watch fan and other than my Seiko Criteria and 3 other G-Shocks which aren't dive watches, the rest are, including a G-Shock Frogman.

Speaking of PAMs, I love the look of the Submersible and other GMT model which has a power reserve indication of '8 days' or is it just the '8 days' without GMT function? Not very well-versed in PAMs but that crown guard just looks very 'tok kong'!.

For Submersible models, I think the more popular one is the PAM 305 (47mm). The model with GMT feature + 8 days PR indicator is a PAM 233, and just a "8 days" PR would be the PAM 510 (relatively new model).

The case between the 233 and 510 is slightly different though - 233 has a Luminor 1950s casing (looks slightly larger due to it being a lil' more squarish), and the 510 has a Luminor casing.

Do go try them on your wrist!!

Ahh...that's some good info there, thanks! So it is indeed larger, 44mm on DSSD compared to the 47mm you said. If got time I'd go visit the Officine Panerai boutique at ION Orchard to take a closer look at them but again, prices are pretty quite similar to the DSSD so yeah... wallet will take another huge blow.

But still, cannot compare to the $487K JLC I saw a couple of days back.

The lever is to lock the crown in place.. so it won't come out "accidentally". You have to release the lever before you can pull the crown out to adjust the date/time.

I see I see, really unique for a watch crown, other than Ball's Engineer series.

If I'm a multi-millionaire, I won't mind buying that JLC in a heartbeat!

Based on my googling and swx trading pit, Panerai has been very quiet last few months on the grey market. I wonder what's happening. Could be they are being snapped up so that few left to go through the grey route. Could be falling Euro so less pieces leave their shores dunno....
