Ok leh quite reasonable since is just a small premium over the regular M2 and not much of a mark up as compared to FX rate from CHF.

It doesn't help that this piece is a limited edition with only 2,000 pieces.

Enjoy your watch!

Sent from my house toilet bowl using GAGT

Over $2k rose gold miyota 8s family member movement is costly for me. LE of 2000 not really LE.

What kind of sports? Need to dive?

Do you prefer dive watch, chronograph or GMT watches? Probably can google these 3 and see which suits you.

Lastly, what is your budget?

i'm think a dive, chronograph watch is best for me.

i'm thinking about 1-2k?
something that can retain value or raise in value after?

If u can get hold of a time machine, probably can recommend you some watches at your budget (non-inflation adjusted) 40-50 years ago that meets the criterion highlighted in red.

Otherwise my sincere advice to you is to ditch that criterion, get something u like and that meet your needs and wear it in good health!

the 1-2k and the retain value/ raise in value is mutually exclusive?

Sell at equal or more? Vintage lor. But do your own research because nobody is going to spoonfeed you, we're all busy hunting our own grails...

Watches tell time. :D

Heeheehee ... joke over. To retain value, must be sorted after. Thus the cheapest will be Rolexes. You just need another 0. :D

And btw ... diver no chrono. Who will use chrono function under water? :s13: Don't be angry please. Give u suggestions of what I would buy myself if I am looking for something within your budget:

Dress watch ($1.6k):

Dive watch ($1.2k):

However, if u just up your budget slightly more:
