This may be just a generic watch thread unlike the specialized forums but we do not lack the expertise of many watch aficionados. Hopefully we'll see more genuine watch lovers and less "test-marketers".

We are not stupid.. we only act that way. :D

i might be wrong, look at the main hands. fake the base has bigger ring whereas real one the ring size is more consistent. thats how i differentiate real or fake. look at the above images and guess which is real or fake. theres other tell tale sign of a fake. your image is too blurry to make out. but usually they look at the date cyclops.

Yes, the spacing of the date wheel and cutout of the 8 is what is usually distinctive.

Thanks Donten, super informative post right there. Ought to be stickied or filed away somewhere for future reference.

From my amateur eyes, I would add that the inner tachy bezel proportions and font also seems to be a consistent giveaway - at least based on the models that we've looked at in recent posts.
