Rolex watches don't normally change the date at the stroke of midnight.. Point taken... It's a normal problem.
Some watches change at 12:15am. Some hours later...

But Donten... My argument is clear....
With a front face shot... Why is the digit "1" in the date window not entirely within the box? It is infact closer to the bottom of the square. TRT posted his SD and the date completely within the box...

The Rolex SD video I shared is filmed at angle but anyone is able to see that the digit is clearly within the window...

Given the timing shown on the face of the watch...11:42 going to 11:43...
It appears to me that the date function is moving downwards... Slowly changing to digit "2"

Therefore if any owner of recent years original Rolex watches with date function, specifically Rolex SD, is able to tell that it is normal for the date function to appear like that... I am sold

Submariner date w/o a cyclop.. u deliberately replaced the crystal as such?

The patina looks really even and the watch, espec the hands, looking in excellent condition overall.

This is just an old 1970s 1680 sub.
Lucky for me to find one with nice hands and patina.

Yes, the top hat crystal is replaced by an acrylic t19 superdome.. i prefer this look!

Lucky for me to find one with nice hands and patina.

Yes, the top hat crystal is replaced by an acrylic t19 superdome.. i prefer this look!

No carved ceramic bezel like the Steinhart OT500, but a sapphire one works too, especially with this amount of BGW9 slathered on..

Yeah, the 3500m WR is a little overkill.. juz like the massive 5.5mm thick sapphire for domed crystal fans...

Not a Swiss Soprod... but a Japanese workhorse Miyota 9015 works fine too.

Successfully managed to scratch the Pelagos itch..
at least until Gnomon stocks the OT500 or when the COSC Pelagos hit the boutiques.. hehehe..

Guys any recommendation on where to get cheap leather NATO straps in Singapore? K2 ones are great but they only come in 2 colors. I'm looking to get a tan and a light beige/pinkish natural color.

My colleague said the watch shops at Bras Basah carry them but I don't want to make a wasted trip.

Hey bros, sorry for asking a noob question. I had few question about watches. Received a Calvin Klein Men's City Chronograph Watch (K2G271C6) as a present. I tried setting the date, but I found out that the date won't change exactly at 12:00midnight (the date shown inbetween 2 and 3) but only after 1am-2am. Another question is, how do I set the date according to the calendar? If there's no 31st this month and the date jump to 31st, i need to manual adjust it again? PLease advise.

Aluminium is more in keeping with the "heritage/retro" theme though. Sure love the gilt dial, rose gold, faux-patina cream lume, the snow-flake hour hand and the gorgeous, gorgeous burgandy bezel! When matched with a distressed leather strap, it is the sexy!!!

Now where is bro hairylord... ahem, I mean aerolord? He always popped by with a pic of his BB whenever it is mentioned.

Date changing at midnite is uncommon for many watches
Casio watch should do so else it's an issue, your CK watch is normal

As long as it's not perpetual calendar watch you have adjust accordingly. Watch will not auto detect and change date accordingly
