Was on a movie date with my Mrs. After the movie it was around 12am and I had the shock of my life!

At 12:05am, the date only begin to slightly move! My assumption was that the date change would be immediate and you could imagine my emotions then. I immediately panicked and googled for answers. To my relief,

I came across this post at WUS by member not12bhere.

As I reached my car, it was about 12:30am and the date finally changed. Fyi, mine is a pre-owned, still the old calibre. The new model has immediate date change.

Here's a backshot with a lovely travel pouch given to me when I changed to a short strap at the ion boutique.

Fyi, the price of the boutique edition platinum 1815 is 48k b4 discount.

I choose Tag. I'm don't think highly of Oris due to the bad experience my friend had when his Oris just stopped working a few months after the warranty period. And they quoted a large amount for repairs.

Well movement wise is a definitely a big downgrade. But looks wise the black bay is much more pleasing to me. North flag integrated bracelet felt uncomfortable on my wrist despite trying to resize it a few times.

- automatic
- bracelet
- diver kind of look. cos he like the submariner. but dont mind having subdials.
- recognisable brand

my thoughts are towards tag, oris, longines. any suggestions will b appreciated.

Same retail for red, blue or black blackbay. But maybe more dist for red and blue

Hi everyone, i am a lurker in this thread and its great reading and viewing pics of nice watches.

However, i have a humble automatic watch, my only one, a Seiko5 SNZF17 which is using the 7S36 movement.

2 days ago, i set the watch and since I can't stop the second hand, it was set to be ard 30 sec slower than the time on my phone.

Today, i compared again and the watch is slower by almost 2 min.
I don't think the accuracy should be that bad, or am i wrong?

Oh, my job is deskbound but i do move my hands around quite a bit.

You are right, sorry about that XD.

How about this instead. Get 3 steinharts: OVM, DLC, and titanium 500.
Can rotate the watch everyday!
