Sorry, very new to this watch hobby. By style, does chronograph watches qualify as a type of style?

Looking for a watch that I can wear as both a dress watch (when I'm in the office) and casual watch. Nothing too complicated on the watch face but simplicity don't cut it either.

Yes, chronograph does narrow down the list quite a bit :s13:

My recommendation for a dress style chronograph (you can tweak it to look more casual with different straps), swiss movement and under 1K SGD is Christopher Ward's C30 Malvern Chronometer. Right now there is 15% discount from the US site (not sure if you can use it with the UK site) until Christmas Eve, sweetening the deal further. My email mentioned free shipping, but not sure if it's free domestic or include international shipping too.

Price after discount is US$701.

In a dilemma currently, any advice for my collection much appreciated!

Thanks and Happy Monday!

 That's a collection!

well you have a few watches which belongs to the same group:
DIVING
- Seiko MM, Steinhart ocean 1 (Black+red) + (Blue+red) + Black Ceramic, Roelx Sub+date, Omega SMP x2 (different size), Tudor Red Black bay, Tag Heuer Aquaracer, Breitling Superocean?!

Dress
- Rolex DJ, Cartier Santos?!

Pilot
- Steinhart

Chrono
- TH Monaco

iirc, the bezel for Steinhart is interchangeable

and I agree with All in a Day... trade a few of your divers for a Dress watch (JLC reverso) and maybe an Omega Speedy :s8:

Whoa! Have so many Steinhart! Sell me cheap cheap! :s13:

Nice to see a Rolex user owning Steinhart watches.

Wonder why? Also, what kinds of comments do you get when wearing them?

Agree with the rest, there is already sooo many divers and a lot of them look similar. Why do you want to get Rolex EXP2 42mm Black or Omega PO 2500d (Orange)?

Can consider other options like chronographs Omega speedy, Tudor blackshield or even a Daytona.

Given only the 2 options, I'll pick the Explorer 2.

But like what many others suggested - Ever considered swapping out a few divers for a dress watch and/or one with chrono features..?

or just get a clean face watch. no date, no day, on seconds hand... just markers, hour and minute hand.

Remove all the Steinharts, get a tuna.

big tuna or mini tuna? but he already have a MM liao wor... is it the same type of watch?

Sounds like PAM 000, 112, 372...

But I think the IWC 3714 is a very handsome watch. Still thinking if I should pull the trigger when I'm in Japan (much cheaper there) and if there are stocks...
