Wah, your wrist can pull it off! Buy Buy Buy!
Saw one in the pre-owned market for $8,700 a month back (gone in a flash), was damn temtped but my wife would hang me.![]()

Popped by moVas to have a quick chat with Sean about his upcoming releases. The exotica twin timer in titanium and CF caught my attention. He said he will launch it end
of this year, can't wait. In about a month, he will be launching the bronze officer SG50 watch.

Is this thread just for sharing pictures or also got discussion on movements? Past few pages got no talk on movements...![]()
both.
lai let's discuss about movement.
On that note.. I find that my 7S26 movement in my SKX diver to be very accurate.. As accurate as my P9000 movement..
Sometimes it makes me wonder, is the added complexity necessary?
Food for thought..
haha know what, complexity and innovation = in-house movement is more for advertising and show innovation of a company
my SKX loses abit of time but its ok to me. not very anal about accuracy as long its not too far off. but mainly i rotate my watches. I always think they are alive and by not wearing them, they will be sad and feel neglected. LOL
we all know a simple digital watch can keep time better.
in-house movement made by a watch maker is telling us they are innovating from a long history of mechanical watches.
That the old design can be made better and nicer with a brand new design, that's the main point to attract buyers like us. (When we hear in-house, we go OMFGBBQ, what is it about? let me see the case back!!)
Longer power reserve and accuracy is a plus point.
they know watch lovers love how a movement works and looks and how the watch maker actually made an tremendous effort to develop a brand new design of a movement.
like what i heard from Triste here, as he quote Walter Lange of A.Lange & Sohne - “There’s something one should expect not only of a watch but also of oneself: to never stand still.”
Keep moving forward.
sorry blabbering nonsense in the morning.
my engrish is poor![]()
Yea.. I agree with you that people like us like to appreciate the technicality of the movement as well. Hence the added features/complexity to appeal to this demographic.
Don't worry la GX.. Haha! Sharing is Caring.![]()

looks like something outta Star Trek...
How to read the time on this?!![]()
