my SKX loses abit of time but its ok to me. not very anal about accuracy as long its not too far off. but mainly i rotate my watches. I always think they are alive and by not wearing them, they will be sad and feel neglected. LOL

we all know a simple digital watch can keep time better.

in-house movement made by a watch maker is telling us they are innovating from a long history of mechanical watches.
That the old design can be made better and nicer with a brand new design, that's the main point to attract buyers like us. (When we hear in-house, we go OMFGBBQ, what is it about? let me see the case back!!)
Longer power reserve and accuracy is a plus point.
they know watch lovers love how a movement works and looks and how the watch maker actually made an tremendous effort to develop a brand new design of a movement.


like what i heard from Triste here, as he quote Walter Lange of A.Lange & Sohne - “There’s something one should expect not only of a watch but also of oneself: to never stand still.”

Nice write up! Just got my ETA 2893 watch back after full overhaul from service centre. Before that, the watch was gaining 40 seconds a day(despite being COSC) which make it inaccurate for time keeping. Do u guys set ur mech watch regulary and within a minute of atomic time? :s22:

to be honest, i don't hahaha life is too short to go bonkers ensuring a mechanical watch goes well within atomic time.
leave it to the quartz to do so.

usually if its not too far off, i am fine. i rotate my watches so most of them stop after 2-3 days of no wrist time.

haha my watches power reserve all less than 72 hours one

I saw the Skx007 selling at $200 plus at lazada. Worth buying?

outside I see 400 plus. Havent go K2 or bencoolen see see yet

I fell down at ecp while riding bike and my Submariner kissed the tarmac a couple weeks back and it is still at the RSC.. not sure of the damage yet. so mean while ill just wear the Omega.
