I think service really depends on the seller you buy from. Actually, this would be my 2nd experience with Chrono24. First experience was for my PAM024, it was a seller from Sassuolo, Italy. I contacted the seller before my trip there and met at his shop to transact. Second experience for this Monaco from a Japanese seller was positive as well. Communication via email was answered promptly and they agreed to provide a video of the watch to prove that it was running and chronos reset properly.

I guess the only downside is paying C24 fees for being the somewhat redundant middleman. Don't think C24 actually provides much (if any) security for deals that go awry. If seller has a website or brick & mortar, I would bypass and touch base with them directly... There's a chance you'll pay less too, since they don't have to foot seller's fees to C24 as well. For my Enicar I paid 200 CHF less by doing a direct deal.

Well, since you like the watch, why not just buy a NATO strap? They're pretty cheap.

And if after spending the $10-12 on the NATO, you still feel like buying a bigger watch, that's totally plausible too.

I have straps that cost more than some of my watches too. Didn't stop me from enjoying them.

actually not really, just like that face, bezel was sub, hands set was MM but looking for red second hands to replace, those im looking at still OOS. so i shall wait patiently
